WRITTEN BY A 21 YEAR OLD FEMALE Wow, this girl has a great plan!  Love the last thing she would do the best.

This was written by a 21 yr old female who gets it.  It’s her future she’s worried about and this is how she feels about the social welfare big  government state that she’s being forced to live in!  These solutions are  just common sense in her opinion.

This was in the Waco Tribune Herald, Waco , TX , Nov 18, 2011

Put me in charge of food stamps. I’d get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho’s, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans,  blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want  steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I’d do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we’ll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine. If you want to reproduce or use  drugs, alcohol, or smoke, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing.  Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your home will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be  inventoried.  If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your  own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a “government” job.  It may be cleaning the roadways  of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you.  We  will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo  and speakers and put that money toward the “common good..”

Before you write that I’ve violated someone’s rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary.  If you want our money, accept our rules.  Before you  say that this would be “demeaning” and ruin their “self esteem,” consider  that it wasn’t that long ago that taking someone else’s money for doing  absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people’s mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices.  The current system  rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND While you are on Gov’t subsistence, you no longer can VOTE!  Yes,  that is correct.  For you to vote would be a conflict of interest.  You will  voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov’t  welfare check.  If you want to vote, then get a job.

Aspirin And Heart Attacks

Image by (adam) THEO via Flickr

Dr. Virend Somers, is a Cardiologist from the Mayo Clinic, who is lead author of the report in the July 29, 2008 issue of The Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Most heart attacks occur in the day, generally between 6 A.M. And noon. Having one during the night, when the heart should be most at rest, means that something unusual happened. Somers and his colleagues have been working for a decade to show that sleep apnea is to blame.

1. If you take an aspirin or a baby aspirin once a day, take it at night. The reason: Aspirin has a 24-hour “half-life”; therefore, if most heart attacks happen in the wee hours of the morning, the aspirin would be strongest in your system.

2. FYI,

Aspirin lasts a really long time in your medicine chest for years, (when it gets old, it smells like vinegar).

Something that we can do to help ourselves – nice to know.

Bayer is making crystal aspirin to dissolve instantly on the tongue. They work much faster than the tablets.

Why keep Aspirin by your bedside? It’s about Heart Attacks

There are other symptoms of a heart attack, besides the pain on the left arm. One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating; however, these symptoms may also occur less frequently.

Note: There may be NO pain in the chest during a heart attack.

The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep did not wake up.

However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.

If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water.

– Call 911 or in Europe 112

– Phone a neighbor or a family member who lives very close by.

– Say “heart attack!”

– Say that you have taken 2 Aspirins.

– Take a seat on a chair or sofa near the front door, and wait for their arrival and

A Cardiologist has stated that if each person after receiving this e-mail, sends it to 10 people, probably one life could be saved!

I have already shared this information. What about you?

Good, Careful Or Name It!

English: Photograph of a slave boy in Zanzibar...

Image via Wikipedia

I have always been greeting people who I know with a salutation that includes the above words.  Why would I do such a thing. It comes basically down to  that I wish everyone a good life, or time. If they can’t always be good you should at least be careful. And if you can’t be careful, name it after me.

I think you have figured out that what I am talking about is your relationship with the opposite sex. By being good you create a lasting relationship with the others and you will not have to be worried that you will have to leave school, home or even the area. I know that having sex after 6 to 10 months in the jungle or in prison or far away from the rest of humanity that the first time you do get with someone, for men/boys it’s always good. I can’t speak for the girls, you will have to make up your own mind.

I then say that if you can’t be good, be careful. By this I mean don’t have sex or use a protector or the girl should be on the pill. If you’re not, you have to think that the results of those few moments of pleasure could turn into a new life which you will have to take care of  until it’s on its own. Did you know that it usually costs about 1 million ( 1,000,000.00) Euros to raise a chid to the age where they can go by them selves.

No problem for the boy, right? I mean he hasn’t the problem with it. But really he is morally and in some countries legally responsible for the child until it is of legal age to go by its self. Just think, how are you, and the girl going to take care of the little one. Usually you can tell from your parents what happens when you have child at too young an age. You end  up using drugs and selling you body of living in the poorest part of the town because you had to quit school to take care of the new one. The boy keeps going to school, but he has by now figured out that he really doesn’t need to learn and he can steal, rob do drugs or hank out with the gang, who usually end up dead or in jail.

Are you going to be around to take care of your responsibilities? I really don’t think you will. Even some of the girls will sell the baby off to someone else, just so they don’t have the problem. But what about the child. Is it really going to a good home or is it just becoming one of the human slaves that are passed from person to person to be used and abused as a slave? Right now the world is engaged in trying to get rid of slavery and you would in your way work against it.

Because of a child being brought into this imperfect world in this manner is the reason I say “Name it after me”.

So all of you think! Be Good. If you can’t be good be careful. If you can’t be careful, Name It After Me!

I started just 1 year ago as an outlet for my thoughts and let it grow from there. I alone am responsible for the contents and will take most of the credit and all the blame.

I hope that all of you have a very Happy Holiday and that the New Year brings all that you hope for. I have found through NASA that even space has a Holiday Idea. Here is the “Space Angel

NASA’s New Massive Rocket

The four gas giants in the solar system, from ...

Manned asteroid flight seen for shuttle hybrid.

By Mark K. Matthews, Tribune Washington Bureau

NASA has made official its next vision for space travel by unveiling plans for a massive rocket it hopes could blast astronauts to an asteroid by 2025 while laying the foundation for a trip to Mars.

The new rocket, a hybrid of the space shuttle, would cost a least $30 billion ($30,000,000,000.00) through 2021 and was billed by NASA as the most powerful in its history, more robust than the Saturn V rocket that carried Apollo astronauts to the moon. The agency has targeted an unmanned test flight for 2017, with a second, crewed flight in 2021, though no destination has been selected for either flight.

What remains to be seen, however, is whether NASA can keep the project on budget and maintain support for a mission that won’t launch a crew for a decade.

Another question is how NASA will pay for additional exploration tools, such as landers, which astronauts would need once the new Space Launch System gets them off Earth.

“Rockets are tools. Asking whether it’s a good or bad tool is beside the point. The question is: What is the job? What’s it for? What are we doing? I haven’t seen a budget scenario in which there is funding for (the Space Launch System) and also funding for missions for us to do with it.” said Jeff Greason a member of a 2009 panel that examined NASA’s future.

At $3 billion a year, the new spaceship would fit within a reduces NASA budget, but future cost overruns could mean NASA would have to cannibalize other programs to pay for it – not a rarity for the agency.

This is amazing, but have they really thought out what to do something new for the future, or are they only trying to improve that which they already know? Most of what they will be sending up out of our atmosphere will be staying in space, orbiting our planet, increasing the amount of garbage orbiting us and increasing the possibility of anything being already in orbit or anything we send in the future has to be planned to miss all the junk so that it is not destroyed before it gets to where it is supposed to be.

All of the countries that have space programs are adding to the clutter and every time they send something secret there maybe pieces falling off on the way that will not be picked up on all the scanners trying to keep track of all this junk. Just think what a little bolt, nut or washer could do to a satellite or its sun panels or such.

The space station has had its problems from pebbles floating in space, just think what an old engine could do.

Shouldn’t they be trying for something new? Like new propulsion systems. Building the space craft in space?  Or maybe you have an idea. Let me know it you do as I think someone out there has the answer but is too afraid to tell the people in charge.

Reading this blog might get the right people to start thinking, THERE IS ANOTHER WAY!

To Lower Your Blood Pressure

Aneroid sphygmomanometer with stethoscope, use...

Image via Wikipedia

Getting high blood pressure is the easy part. But lowering it back down again doesn’t have to be tricky either. Talk to your doctor and see if trying some of these ideas throughout the day can get you back on track.

I. When you wake; drink two cups of (Greek) coffee.

The Science:  A 2010 study by Greek researchers finds that drinking two to three cups of java daily reduces your risk of heart disease by 21 percent and lowers your blood pressure by up to 10 percent. The coffee only works by releasing flavonoids and cafestol, which increases your heart’s ability to stretch to accommodate more blood flow, said Christina Chrysohoou, study author and cardiologist with the First Cardiology Clinic University in Athens. Keep in mind though, that this kind of coffee can raise your serum cholesterol. Talk to your doctor if this is an issue for you.

Make it work for you: Although the coffee from each country may be of a different caffeine level, yours may also do the trick.

II. In the office: Hold your head up.

The Science: There’s a link between your neck muscles and the area of your brain that regulates your blood pressure and posture. Standing up straight can actually lower your BP.

Make it work for you: If you’re sitting in front of a desk all day, you need to make sure it’s at the right height for your posture.

III.    On the ride home: Get rid of the noise.

The Science: European researchers have found that your blood pressure rises when you hear ambient noise – even if you’re sleeping and don’t think you’re noticing the sounds. It’s especially bad for anyone living near an airport or highway. Dr. Alexandros Haralabidis stated that “noise is considered an environmental stressor. Like other stressors, it may affect the autonomic nervous system and our stress hormones by interfering with our activities, relaxation and sleep.”

Make it work for you: Haralabidis suggests wearing earplugs when you sleep or are driving with your windows open, [or close the windows of the car and turn soft music on. Not hard rock or anything of that sort.]

IV.    For dinner: Eat lean protein.

The Science: Eating a diet in which a quarter of your calories come from lean rotein reduces your blood pressure, bad cholesterol levels and triglycerides [is an ester derived from glycerol and three fatty acids. There are many triglycerides, depending on the oil source, some are highly unsaturated, some less so. They are the main constituents of vegetable oil(typically more unsaturated) and animal fats (typically more saturated). In humans, triglycerides are a mechanism for storing unused calories, and their high concentrations in blood correlates with the consumption of starchy and fatty foods. ]

Make it work for you: All meals should contain about 30 grams of protein, while all snacks should have about 20 grams. One ounce of animal protein contains 7 grams of protein, so you should aim for 3 to 4 ounces of lean protein, such as turkey, tofu, or salmon per meal or snack. [You should check a diet web site to gain more information as to the amount of protein contained in other meats.]

V.    For Dessert: Nibble on dark chocolate.

The Science: Eating 3.5 ounces (98 grams) of dark chocolate daily for two weeks can lower you systolic blood pressure by 4.5 points, and your diastolic blood pressure by 4.2 points, according to a 2008 study out of Italy. You can thank the flavonoids – or the antioxidant compounds – in the dark chocolate for that sweet treat. Do this every day for five years, and you could lower your cardiovascular risks by 20 percent.

Make it work for you: Stick to dark chocolate containing at least 65 percent cacao, says Dr. Prediman Shah, director of cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute in Los Angeles. The higher the cacao content, the more antioxidants the chocolate will contain.

VI.    At the bar: Skip the soda and sugary mixers.

The Science: This year, a study by researchers from Imperial College in London found that middle-aged people who drank more than one soda a day had higher blood pressure that those who skipped the drink, and their blood pressure continued to rise the more they drank. Soda contains salt, and if more than 2 grams of sodium are ingested, it can contribute to higher blood pressure. Also, high fructose corn syrup – which is found in most sodas – increases oxidant stress which will also hurt your blood pressure.

Make it work for you: If you can’t kick your soda habit, stick to diet soda with low or no-sodium.

VII.    Before bed: Tune in to your tunes.

The Science: Listening to music with a steady beat for 30 minutes daily when combined with slow breathing exercises can lower your systolic blood pressure by 4 points in just three months, according to a recent study out of Italy. It works by connecting you emotionally with the music while slowing down your breathing and calming your body, says Dr. Randall Zusman, director of the hypertension division at the Massachusetts General Hospital heart center, and associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Make it work for you: As long as it has a steady beat – anything from Lady Gaga to Franz Joseph Haydn – listen to it while breathing in and out with an inhale-exhale ration of 1-to-2. Make sure it’s music that you enjoy, or else it won’t be able to calm your mind.

If you have any questions about the above, contact your doctor to make sure the answer is for you. Good Luck.

The Windmill of Your Mind

Systems thinking about the society

Image via Wikipedia

The windmill of your mind is the master of your achievement.

In order to achieve anything in life, you have change some habits. For example, for people who want to lose weight, they have to change their eating habits, or if someone wants to work out and does not have any time during the whole day, acquire the habit of waking up early. I can give so many examples.

But for you to achieve something in life you have to change your way of thinking, or maybe your way of working, or changing a working place. When you see a broke person, look at his/her way of thinking. His/her way of talking. Everything that he/she says is negative. And when you see a wealthy person you will see a person that says positive things, thinks positive. How come that 3% of the people around the world, basically earns 97% of the money being made?

How come the rich get richer and the poor get poorer? It basically starts with the way of thinking, the broke people, or, the people who are trying to survive, stop working at 5 p.m.. While the rich people, do not stop after 8 hours of working, they work after hours, because they know that time is worth money and they love what they are doing, so for them it is not working, it is having fun.

At the same time, when you see a person who achieved anything in life, you will see that they are happy. Achievers are happy people. They are positive people. They walk different. They talk  different and they act different. So in order for you to achieve anything in life, study how achievers act, talk, walk and behave.

As we all know, we all have one common asset. What is the number one asset for all of us? That asset is Time.

So basically in order to achieve anything your first step is to change your way of thinking.

As we all know that in order to achieve something (or to receive when something is being achieved), there are three steps that are needed to be followed in order to achieve things:

First: We have to become a better person in order to achieve anything we want;

Second Do what we have to Do: which means we have to do the necessary things in order to achieve what we want;

Third is to Receive: We receive what ever we want to achieve. It’s like planting a Seed and then you have to take care of the seed for it to grow. When it has grown enough, you can harvest.

As you see anything in life, in order for you to achieve something you first have to make a goal. Now what is the difference between a goal and a dream, the difference is that a dream you say “one day i will be rich” or “one day i will have that specific car”, and a goal is a dream with a deadline, which means, “I will earn 20,000$ on the 31st of October 2010″ , that is a goal, and after you make that specific goal, you must make a plan of action of what you have to do in order to achieve you goal.

When you have a goal, and it is a strong goal, it will keep you motivated to continue in the dry season of labor, for all of you to know, that in order to achieve something in life you will always go through the garbage dump. When your goal is strong enough, it will keep you going through it. And when the goal is achieved, the taste is sweeter then ever.

Nowadays there so many ways to call it. For example, many of us know “The Secret” of Rhonda Byrnes, The Law of Attraction, The Power of The Subconscious Mind, The Science of getting rich, so many ways, and so many techniques in which to do it. But the basics are all the same. When you have a goal, you MUST write it down on a piece of paper, and you should read at least once a day, every day, and before going to sleep, to think about the specific goals that you have.

So resuming what is mentioned: Become the person you have to become. Do what is necessary is to be done in order to achieve your goal. When the deadline arrives, receive it and do not be afraid of anything.

Look at every problem and/or obstacle as an opportunity in disguise. Do not concentrate on the problem, it will only hurt you. Do not look at the obstacle in the opportunity, but look at the opportunity in the obstacle. When you concentrate on the opportunity, everything in life will go better.

The way of creating an objective, a goal.

The first thing of goal achievements is that you need to have a burning desire to achieve something. That is the first and for most, the second thing, that you must do. But you must get yourself a notebook in order to write what are your goals, and it has to be hand written.

When you are writing your goals on a piece of paper, you must be in a quiet area, with no noise, by yourself, and write what are your goals. When writing your goals you must attach an emotional feeling to your goals. Meaning, when you attach an emotion to a goal, then it will last for a longer time and you will be able to get through the hard times.

As I said before, a dream is a series of imaginative thoughts that occur while being awake. This means you must keep thinking about something while being awake, and saying to yourself {fill in that which you want}.

A goal is a dream with a deadline, and most important a plan in order to achieve the dream.

This  means that in order to write your goals, you put, “I want to have ……(whatever) because it will make me feel …….(whatever emotion you attach to that specific goal)” . When you finish this first part, the next thing you have to do is to create a specific date for you to achieve that specific goal.

Third step is you have to start exploring the subject that you want. Get the knowledge that is needed to be acquired in order to achieve your goals.

Forth step is to see what obstacles are on your way to get what ever it is you wanted, for you to prepare yourself mentally. When you have a clear picture of that in your head, then the clues of what you need to do will start showing up.

Fifth step is to have a clear plan of action of what you have to do daily, weekly and monthly, that you will be able to follow-up on it. When you write your plan of action, you have to write clear-cut actions. To do what you need to do, based on the knowledge you have acquired, in order to achieve what ever it is you want.

Last step of “The windmill of your mind is the master of your achievements” is evaluate whatever you said you will do. On a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly, about your achieved goals.
